Who We Are & Trading Identity

This website is operated by Liquid Roof Armour, an independent specialist retailer of liquid roofing products. All purchases made through this website are contracts between the customer and Liquid Roof Armour.

RoofSkin products are supplied and dispatched through the manufacturer's distribution  network, using established distribution hubs and courier services for delivery to customers across the UK.

2. Introduction & Age Restriction (Strict No Under 18 Policy)

These terms and conditions apply to all product purchases made from Liquid Roof Armour through our online store.

Customers must be aged 18 or over to purchase products from our website. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.

3. Order Acceptance. Refusal & Pricing Errors

​

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is  a legitimate reason to do so, including where a product is unavailable, an age  requirement has not been met, or there is an obvious error in the product information or price provided.

 

We take reasonable care to ensure that product information and technical guidance provided on this website are accurate. Prices are provided directly to customers when requested or when a quotation is prepared. If an obvious pricing or other genuine error is identified, we freserve the right to correct the information and, where necessary, cancel an affected order.

If an order is cancelled after payment has been taken, we will issue a full refund to the original payment method.​

4. Payment Security & Pre - Payment Policy

​

All card payments are processed securely through our payment provider, Stripe. We accept major payment cards and direct bank transfers.

 

All orders must be paid for in full and payment must have cleared before goods are prepared or dispatched through our distribution network.

5. Order Processing & Site Delivery

​

Orders are processed once payment has cleared, and we aim to arrange dispatch as promptly as possible. Materials are delivered to the delivery address specified by the customer, which may include a residential address or commercial project site.

 

Standard delivery is normally 2-33 working days. Delivery times are estimates only and are managed by external courier networks, so delays can occasionally occur.

We strongly recommend that customers do not strip an existing roof or book installation labour until the materials have arrived, have been checked and the order has been confirmed as complete.

We cannot accept responsibility for delays or additional costs arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including sever weather, industrial action, transport disruption or wider supply-chain disruption.  ​

6.Inspection Of Goods & Defect Policy

​

Please inspect your delivery as soon as reasonably possible after it arrives. Any transit damage, leaks, missing items or other discrpancies should be reported to us within 3 working days of delivery so that we can investigate and liaase with the courier where necessary.

 

If you believe a product may be defective, please contact us before opening, mixing or applying the product wherever reasonably possible. We may require photographs, batch information and details of the product's preperation and application to help establish the cause of the issue.

 

Where a product has been used or applied, we may need to inspect the application and underlying substrate before determining whether the issue relates to the product itself, preparation or application to help establish the cause of the issue.

All orders must be paid for in full before goods are dispatched.

7. Strict Unopened Returns Policy

​

For eligible online purchases. consumers have cancellation rights in accordance with applicable consumer law. Where a customer exercises their cancellation right, goods should be returned in accordance with the applicable return requirements.

​

Due to the specialist nature of RoofSkin liquid roofing products, we ask that products intended for return remain unopened, with the caps and factory seals intact and the containers undamaged wherever possible.

​

Returned goods will be inspected on receipt. Any refund due will be processed in accordance with our Refund Policy and applicable consumer law.

8. Limitation of Liability & Application Disclaimer

​

RoofSkin is a specialist roofing product and must be prepared and applied in accordance with the manufacturer instructions. Liquid Roof Armour supplies the product but does not provide a roofing installation service.

 

The performance of the finished roof can depend on factors including the condition and suitability of the underlying surface, preparation, application and weather conditions at the time of installation. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the product is suitable for their project and that it is applied correctly in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.T

 

Where a problem is reported following application, we may require information about the preparation and application, photographs or an inspection to help establish the cause of the issue. This does not affect any statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.

Product Preparation and Application

​

The underlying roof surface must be clean, dry and structurally sound before RoofSkin is applied. The manufacture's preparation and application instructions must be followed carefully.

​

Where reinforcement is required, RoofSkin reinforcement scrim should be correctly positioned and embedded across relevant moving joints, corners, upstands and seams in accordance with the manufacture's instructions.

​

If a customer believsesa product is faulty, we may request photographs. batch information and other relevant details and, where necessary, arrange for the product or application to be inspected. Where appropriate, we may seek technical information from the manufacturer to help establish the cause of the reported issue.

Product Changes

We may supply products with minor changes to packaging, container dimensions or product presentation where these changes do not materially affect the product supplied. Where a product formulation or specification changes, we will ensure that the product supplied remains suitable for the intended use and meets the manufacturer's applicable specification.

Application and Installation Responsibility

 

Liquid Roof Armour supplies the roofing materials but does not provide installation or roofing workmanship services. The customer or their appointed contractor is responsible for ensuring that the roof structure and substrate are suitable, that the required preparation is completed correctly, and that RoofSkin is applied strictly in accordance with the manufacture's instructions.

 

We are not responsible for problems arising from unsuitable substrates, inadequate preparation, incorrect application, failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions, or installation workmanship. Where a product is suspected to be faulty, we will access the matter and may seek technical assistance from the manufacturer to establish the cause. Nothing in these terms and conditions affects any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

 9. Product Description & Accuracy: We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, images and other information on our website are accurate. However, colours displayed on computer monitors, tablets and mobile devices can vary depending on screen settings and calibration, so the colour shown on screen may differ slightly from the physical product.

 

The standard RoofSkin product cures to a dark grey finish. Images shown on this website are for illustrative purposes and are intended  to provide an indication of the product and its finished appearance.

10. "Manufacturer's Guarantee .

​

The RoofSkin liquid roofing system supplied by Liquid Roof Armour is covered by a manufacturer's 20-year material gurantee, subject to the manufacture's applcable guarantee terms and conditions.

 

The guarantee is provided by RoofSkin, the product manufacturer, and is subject to the product being stored, prepared and applied in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions, technical specifications and substrate requirements.

 

Liquid Roof Armour does  not provide a separate or additional 20-year guarantee. The manufacturer's guarantee is seperate from and does not affect ant statutory rights the customer may have against the retailer.

Customers are responsible for checking their roof dimensions, substrate suitability and project requirements before application. Any general guidance or estimates provided by Liquid Roof Armour are provided in good faith and should not replace the manufacturer's technical documentation or a professional assessment of the individual roof.

​

Liquid Roof Armour is not responsible for product performance issues arising from incorrect mixing, inadequate preparation, poor workmanship, adverse weather conditions during application, failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions or improper installation techniques.

​

Any coverage estimates, calculations or general guidance provided by Liquid Roof Armour by telephone, email or through digital forms are provided in good faith and are intended as guidance only. Customers remain responsible for veriying their own roof dimensions, substrate suitability and project requirements before purchasing or applying the product.

Where there is uncertainty regarding substrate suitability, preparation or application, customers should refer to the manufacture's technical documentation or seek appropriate professional advice.​​

11. Intellectual Property & Website Content

​

All content displayed on this website, including our logos, text ,product descriptions, website copy, images and original materials, is owned by or licensed to Liquid Roof Armour and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.​

12. Statutory Right & Governing Law

​

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights under  applicable UK consumer law.

​

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, if you are a consumer you may bring legal proceedings in the courts of the part of the Uk in which you live, where permitted  by law.

If you are a  business customer, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms and conditions, subject to applicable law.
